The Panasonic Lumix S5 II is a full-frame mirrorless camera for hybrid shooters who put video first but still need solid stills. Three things matter: a 24.2 MP full-frame sensor, open-gate 6K recording at up to 30p, and bursts of up to 30 fps with the electronic shutter. With the mechanical shutter it shoots at up to 9 fps, and the battery is rated for about 370 shots per charge, in a 740 g body. Compared with its sibling the S5 IIX, it shares the same sensor and core specifications; the S5 IIX is the video-oriented variant.
